Hello everyone!

I was tagged by IcthusBookCorner to do the I Messed Up Book Tag! It was quite a while ago that I was tagged, but I had all my posts lined up and this was the only free spot lol.

A character appearance that you misread or imagined differently.

This is probably every character I've ever read. I'd probably have to say Theresa from The Maze Runner trilogy, Four from The Divergent series, and the AI guy from Illuminae. The AI was probably the worst because I couldn't help but picture him as a human.

A character name that you have been pronouncing wrong.

Lol. There's too many. Probably all the names from Beautiful Creatures and Minho from The Maze Runner. I always said it as "minnow," or would over-pronounce the "ho" part. I don't know.

An overused trope that is your guilty pleasure.

I know this sounds bad, but when the guys are more protective of their love interest and take charge. I hate when the girls are weaker and let the guy control them, but I like a little protective instinct, I think it's cute.

A cliché character type that you like better on screen than reading about.

Characters like Bella from Twilight who are more moody and, I love Twilight, but whiny. Also, I can't stand the standard jock or mean girl in a book, but they're ok on screen.

Have you ever not read or completed a required-reading book for school?

Never. I love reading, so why wouldn't I read required books. I also I want to read more classics, so school books are my excuse to.

Have you ever skipped (or wanted to) a chapter from the point of view of a character you weren’t interested in?

I have wanted to, but I've never done it. I'm afraid I'll miss something big and be clueless at where I pick the story back up.

Have you ever cancelled social plans to read a book?

They don't know, but many times, like more than a healthy amount. Don't judge.

Thanks for reading!
